Our Response to COVID-19

The Active Aging Society acknowledges the health threat that the COVID-19 pandemic presents, and encourages everyone to follow the current public health guidelines set by the Province of British Columbia and best prevention practices outlined on the BC CDC website. Our staff adhere to the COVID-19 policies that are in place at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver Coastal Health.

As an organization committed to the physical, social, and mental health of older British Columbians we know that now—in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic—older British Columbians need our support to stay active and connected. Keeping active and connected are vital to ones’ health, mobility, and independence.
